Ecoboost Mustang BOV Sounds | Stock vs Turbosmart

Check out our video comparing Ecoboost Mustang BOV sounds, stock and aftermarket!

In the search for the perfect sounding Ecoboost Mustang we introduced in our last blog post, something occurred to us admist the glorious rumble of the Ecoboost Mustang Exhaust. We needed a more aggressive and satisfying sounding blow off valve. Thankfully, our friends over at Turbosmart had a surprise for us in the shape of an Ecoboost Mustang BOV! The Turbosmart Ecoboost Mustang BOV sound as good as you'd wish it did.

It's louder than the factory BOV, and has a more aggressive blow-off sound so you'll know it's doing it's job. But sound isn't what makes this Ecoboost Mustang BOV special. Compared to stock, it's solid and built to last for years. With a Billet Aluminum housing, it wont crack when exposed to higher boost pressure and intense engine bay heat.

The factory Ecoboost Mustang BOV is plastic and will deteriorate over time. Blow-off is controlled by a o-ring sealed piston, strong enough to control over 30psi boost. Compared to the factory BOV which uses a plastic diaphragm, Turbosmart Ecoboost Mustang BOV holds more pressure, plain and simple.

We fitted this Ford Mustang Ecoboost BOV on our test-car here at the shop to get some before and after sounds, and to show you how easy it is to install an aftermarket Ecoboost Mustang BOV! Below you'll see the video of the Ecoboost Mustang BOV sound compilation, with the installation video coming very soon! Keep an eye on the blog for more release information and Ecoboost Mustang performance parts from MAPerformance!
