Kompact EM BOV - Plumb Back VR2 by Turbosmart

The award-winning Kompact EM series Blow-Off Valves, are the world’s first truly plug and play Blow-Off Valves. Simply unplug and unbolt your OEM Blow-Off Valve, and install ours in its place. No adapters, hoses or extra assembly required. All this while retaining complete OE control of the BOV’s operation.

Turbocharger performance is increased due to minimising leakage, rapid response, coupled with superior thermal performance thanks to our world-leading engineering and simulation abilities.

A must-have for hybrid or larger flowing turbos that utilise OE electronic diverter valve by not leaking, the EM will achieve target boost without stressing the turbo charger and wastegate

Turbosmart Kompact EM plumb back BOV

After I installed the C.A.R.B legal Mishimoto IC hot side pipe I restalled the OEM BOV . I unfortunately had to remove the MAPerformance pipe with a vacuum run BOV for legal reasons ( California laws). I decided to order the Turbosmart kompact plumb back unit and I was very impressed how quiet it works compared to the loud buzzing noise the OEM BOV makes. Even with the MAPerformce CAI I'm using there's absolutely no auditable noises from the Turbosmart unit. I'm impressed how this item works with the mishimoto pipe and the Treadstone front IC and the 65mm BBK throttle body and Bomba intake spacer. I run a Diablo Predator 2 tune and with all my other mods not listed here I'm running a daily driven 410hp dynoed 31mpg hwy (@ 70) 2015 ecoboost. And it's smogged California legal.
