Top 5 Mods for your 11th Gen Civic Si

Top 5 Mods for your 11th Gen Civic Si

May 14, 2026Ryan Surprise

Let’s cut to the chase. You're here for the 11th Gen Civic Si and the best mods to put on it. The 11th Gen Civic Si is one of our favorite platforms to work on. The mods install like Lego, and the 1.5T engine also leaves plenty of room to grow. Through our R&D and testing process, we’ve put together a list of our biggest bang-for-your-buck parts.

Below are the five parts we’ve tested on the Si in our shop. Let’s get into each of these parts and see what puts them at the top.

Air Intake - MAPerformance Air Intake Kit | 2022+ Honda Civic Si (HDAXI-IN)

First up, we’ve got the intake. Made from high-quality mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing, this air intake system both increases engine efficiency and horsepower output. It comes in raw stainless, wrinkle black, or wrinkle red finishes to provide a cleaner look while increasing airflow. This makes a fantastic first mod for any 11th Gen Si owner.

Intercooler - 2022+ Honda Civic 1.5T Intercooler by MAPerformance | (HDAXI-IC)

MAPerformance Air Intake Kit

The Si is a ton of fun to build, but once you start turning up the boost levels, the stock intercooler starts to show its weaknesses. As boost levels climb, intake air temperatures climb with them. As air temps climb, air density decreases, which limits power output. The cooler the air, the better!

That’s where an upgraded intercooler comes into play. Factory intercoolers are designed with budget and efficiency in mind, not peak power. The MAPerformance intercooler increases cooling capacity, which helps keep those temps in check. Not to mention, the billet end tanks look great! The custom 27x6x3 core is built to support up to 450WHP, giving you plenty of room to push the build further. Additionally, our intercooler works perfectly with the stock piping or our MAP Aftermarket Hard Pipe Kit.

Catback Exhaust - MAPerformance Catback Exhaust | 2022+ Honda Civic Si (HDAXI-CBE)

MAPerformance Cat Back Exhaust

Up next, we’ve got the catback exhaust. We have our very own 3-inch 304L stainless steel, mandrel bent exhaust with long mid pipe legs to minimize the number of sections that need to be welded together. Sometimes, less is more!

We offer two versions. The Street version, which includes the resonators, finished with dual 3.5-inch tips. It eliminates drone on the freeway, making it comfortable on a long trip and still giving you that performance you desire. If you’re looking for a clean exhaust note, but don’t necessarily want to go all out, this is for you.

The Race version runs a 3-inch straight pipe with dual 3.5-inch tips, but does not include the resonators. It's the one you want if you’re looking to be heard. It has slightly more rasp than the Street version, but nothing we would consider unbearable.

Downpipe - MAPerformance 2022+ Honda Civic / Civic Si 1.5T Downpipe | HDAXI-DPC

MAPerformance 2022+ Honda Civic / Civic Si 1.5T Downpipe

The downpipe is the one part that’s going to change the way your Si feels to drive. The factory downpipe is restrictive and leaves a lot of power on the table. By building a larger pipe, we tap into that extra power the stock downpipe restricts. The Direct-Fit Design utilizes a 3-inch 304L stainless steel for the highest flow from the turbo. Factory connections keep installation straightforward with minimal tools, and every downpipe is backed with a lifetime warranty.

Intercooler Charge Piping - 11th Gen Honda Civic Si Intercooler Charge Piping by MAPerformance | 2022+ Honda Civic Si (HDAXI-CPK)

When building your car, longevity is always a concern. We’ve made our intercooler charge piping system to last the lifetime of your car, unlike so many other OEM plastic systems. We designed this charge piping to follow the OEM route, preventing additional mods while increasing the size of the pipe. This helps reduce pressure drops across the whole system and allows more air to reach the intake manifold. It features a free-flowing mandrel-bent 304SS tube, back purge TIG-welded for strength and durability.
