TurboXS introduces the 2008 WRX and STI Cold Air Intake. As rule ofthumb on a turbocharged vehicle you will want to free up the flow intothe turbocharger allowing it to build boost much easier through a lessrestrictive intake path. The use of a high quality filter element wasrequired to keep up with the air flow demands of a 2.5L Turbochargedengine. Air is directed through a polished lightweight mandrel bentaluminum piping reducing any flow restrictions. A precisely machinedmass air flow housing to ensure the sensor calibration is not alteredcausing any adverse effects to the vehicles air to fuel ratio.
