4 inch throw to 3 inch throw, sits in a much better and comfortable position and feels amazing.
This was a fairly easy install. I had a little bit of trouble with the center console removal because apparently they did the 15 model slightly different than the rest. Not much different but enough to cause a tiny snag. No problem though. The shifter was very easy to install. Hardest part was removing the old retainer clips. Thank God it came with new ones. Wish it was at least a 1/2" shorter than what it is but still a very good buy. Reason for four stars instead of five is I've always seen these come with a tool to remove the plastic clip from the ball at the bottom of the old shifter but mine did not. Luckily the car is still very new (only 8k miles) and it wasn't much of a hassle removing the clip by hand and force (so glad it didn't break!) Definitely recommend this item. No more notchiness going into 3rd. Also, get you some shifter base bushings (AMS).
Installed recently with the TWM shifter cage. the tq shifter fit very well even though its a different cage than stock. shifts are much shorter. has made shifting very addictive. next i will install the underhood bushing and gate selector bushing.
Must have for Evo, shorter shifts very crisp this + weighted shift knob is amazing.
easy install, all parts included, shifts smooth, short, and crisp. did this with both underhood and shifter cage bushings, and completely changed the feel of my shifts
