Enkei developed a new manufacturing process to produce the next aluminum wheel generation. The Most Advanced Technology (M.A.T) combines one-piece cast wheel technology with a rim forming technology called spinning process. Using this new technology of casting and rim forming by M.A.T process, is critical to improve drastically the material property and strength of the wheels. Rim-Rolled technology shapes the rim to improve material elongation without sacrificing the wheel's hardness.
All Enkei wheels are engineered to pass rigorous testing. In fact, Enkei established its own test standard called “Spec-E,” which is tougher than JWL requirements. Enkei’s Spec-E test setting requires a higher drop point in the impact test and 20% more cycles for the rotary bending fatigue and dynamic radial fatigue tests than JWL standards.The Spec-E represents Enkei’s confidence in its technology and quality of Enkei wheels.

Shipping was only a couple of days got them mounted and they look awesome!
These rums make for the perfect combo on a Evo X , the rims came in two days and the install went great.
Very happy with the look and fitment of these wheels on my 2008 Evo X
Fitment: +15 fit just right and cleared the front brakes as expected. The forums were not wrong when I was researching the best fit.
Rubbing: I am lowered on a set of Fortune 500 and there is no issue with steering. However, it is important to roll/pull at least the rear fender as there will be significant rubbing when going over bumps (the significance is subjective, I know).
Colour: I decided to try out the SBC finish instead of the standard colours and was impressed. The SBC creates a "dark shift" in terms of the reflection based on the surrounding area. If the environment is bright, the wheels are more silver, but when in low light or similar, they become a very dark silver, almost "black chrome".
Tires: I got a good deal on some General G-Max (265/35/R18) and they bulge a little.
Overall:
I am happy with the purchase and would recommend to other owners. I was suspect on whether I would truly enjoy the look as opposed to something like the NT03's, but seeing them on the car, I am no longer worried.
Super fast shipping, Perfect fit, clears Brembo brakes, and super light. I used 265/35 r18 Firestone Indy 500s. A little rubbing in the front on stock suspension but super easy to trim!
