Prothane Total Suspension Bushing Kit | 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8/9 (13-2003)

Purchased this kit thinking it was a actual "TOTAL KIT" that had all the bushings for my EVO IX. After talking with MAPERFORMANCE customer service thinking that there were missing parts, PROTHANE requested for me to contact them directly. Long story short the "Total Kit" usage of language is just the bushings that they make for the EVO 8/9, which are only for the Front/Rear Sway bars, Mustache Bar/Rear Differential Bracket, Front Control Arm, and the Rear Trailing Arm. The bushings that are missing are for the other 3 components of the rear suspension which are the Toe Arm/ Assist Link, Upper Arm, and Lower/Suspension Arm. So the "TOTAL KIT" doesn't have 6 bushing for each side of the rear. Luckily WHITELINE makes those bushings and here are those part numbers Toe Arm/ Assist Link #W0588, Upper Arm #W0590 & #W0591, Lower/Suspension Arm #W62950 #W0589 #W62591. With that you should have all the necessary bushings to complete everything in the Front/ Rear Suspension. **I just want to clarify why I gave 3 stars is because it really seemed like the kit had everything using wording like TOTAL KIT. This is no fault on the part of MAPERMORMANCE, the labeling is all miss direction from PROTHANE. Even on there website it's unclear on what exactly is in the kit, because its advertised as TOTAL and says that the kit includes Front and Rear Control Arm bushings** Aside from that the product itself seems well made and is easy to install, and also has a Life Time Warranty. So be sure to keep your receipts.

I have a 400+whp autox/street Evo 9 MR. Car ripped before i went browsing thru MAP and saw this bushing set. After pulling the trigger and receiving these, they are BEEFY bushings, great looking product. If your car is from the salt belt(like mine) prepare yourself with a variety of curse words getting your lower arms out, but it is worth the reward. The car was so much more stiff laying into corners, a flatter more linear feel. These bushings are so hefty that the control arm will not sit parallel with the ground, it requires some force to push these down. Worth the money, and i haven't even gotten to install the rest in this kit... it only gets better from here out. Ditch the stock bushings and enjoy a cheap modification that provides results.
