Whether you’re building your WRX for the track, dragstrip, or the road, upgrading your WRX’s intercooler is an absolute must. Designed with a massive core, CFD-optimized cast end tanks, and high-flow pipes, this intercooler offers potential gains of up to 12 hp and 11.8 lb-ft torque.
The front mounting location of this kit places the intercooler in the lower bumper grille for maximum airflow through the core, making this system ideal for high-performance builds. In dyno testing, our intercooler was able to bring outlet temperatures to within 10-degrees of ambient air temp, ensuring safe power run after run, even on the stock tune. CFD-optimized end tanks, ID-matched pipes, and a high-flow, 4 inch-thick core result in a 1.5 PSI pressure drop, so less of the boost your turbo makes is wasted.
Performance is great, but if you have to destroy your car for it, it’s useless. Our kit contains everything needed for installation with no cutting of the bumper or body required. Our intercooler kit also retains the factory side impact bars and includes a bumper support bar with factory tow hook mounting for safety on the track and the street. The included washer fill neck relocation kit keeps maintenance easy, while allowing for a clean install.
Please Note: Installation with the stock intake requires cutting of the airbox. This product is NOT CARB compliant.
