But I’m running into an issue I cannot figure out. Under wet conditions ONLY, I’m getting an insane knock/thumping from underneath the car after the install. It also knocks/thumps so hard that when it initially happened the first time I thought my shifter had fallen apart because it was causing it to shake so bad and was knocking that hard. I’ve had it looked at 3x, twice by an extremely reputable Honda/Acura tuning shop and once by an Acura dealership a family member works at. The hanger doesn’t sit center into the rubber grommet and eventually always pushes toward the passenger side as well, as if the front pipe is under extreme tension. The tuning shop told me it’s a manufacturer defect which I didn’t believe at first. Then when I had Acura look at it they said they would loosen it, but when they tightened it, it always pulled towards the passenger side. I’m going to have a very reputable exhaust shop look at it soon to see if they can alter something to make it stop knocking and thumping when it rains/is wet out..
WITH ALL OF THAT ASIDE, the front pipe looks amazing and sounds really good. It didn’t make a drastic difference but the pops and bangs my Si makes/already made are wayyyyy more crispy and the exhaust note overall sounds way smoother.
I’m not giving up yet and don’t want to. If this is editable I will keep it updated with whether or not I have resolved the issue.
This and map's downpipe sounds great not alot of drone and the perfect amount of pops would recommend.
