2015-2021 Subaru WRX MT Rev 4 Catted Downpipe by MAPerformance
When the turbo compresses exhaust gas, it's forced through a narrow downpipe on its way through the exhaust system. This narrow pipe can create lots of turbulence. This air pressure needs to go somewhere, and the factory 2015-2021 Subaru WRX downpipe is a huge bottleneck, limiting flow and robbing power. An upgraded downpipe will allow this spent exhaust gas a quicker outlet to the exhaust system, increasing horsepower and torque through the entire power band!

This is exactly what you’re looking for. High quality and again some of the best welds you’ll see. Went in like a dream after I got the old pipe out. Performance wise it made more of a difference than I expected and the added turbo noise and straight pissed off sound is a massive bonus. Cabin drone isn’t bad at all as well. Highly recommend
An absolutely wonderful product and I fully recommend. Went with this j-pipe over the others because, after watching a bunch of YouTube videos the consensus was this one was the best aside from the GESI ones. Added some noticeably throatier pops. Attached is a video of my car right after the tune and warmed up. Remark non resonated cat back, grimmspeed intake and a few other mods not worth mentioning 😁
So thus is my first time installing a downpipe. It was extremely simple. Maperformance instructions was spot on for the walk through. Pipe is very well made. I am currently in the process of getting Etuned. Sounds is absolutely aggressive. I have an MBRP race cat back it is hooked to. My car is 100% louder. No check engine code yet. Time will tell. Highly recommend this down pipe if you are on the fence pull the trigger and buy it. Only con I had was the kit didn't come with a new steel gasket for the turbo to cat connection. I reused my old one it was still in good shape. All in all I was very satisfied. Thank MAP!! Video is just a cold start on base e tune to make sure everything works well so no revs sorry.
