Air Intakes do a few things for your vehicle. Not only do they replace the unattractive factory airbox system , but they also increases air flow to the turbocharger. This results in an increase in power and torque, throttle response, and engine noise upon acceleration - three things every Ecoboost Mustang owner loves!
A Ford Ecoboost Mustang Intake system by MAP will do all of the things mentioned above. Removal of your OEM Ford airbox opens up extra space in the engine bay for optional mods such as Intercooler Piping, and the larger high performance Air Filter allows for optimal filtration and long lasting life. Silicone couplers attach the intake piping to the throttle body via the included clamps making this a quick and easy installation.

1.) All MAPerformance in-house fabricated parts include a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the Original Purchaser. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferrable. If the product fails it would need to be determined by MAPerformance that it is due to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. The purchaser will be responsible for sending the product back, after contacting MAPerformance and reporting the failure. Further instructions will be provided by MAPerformance.
2.) This does not cover normal wear and tear. Improper use, modification, or abuse voids this warranty. MAPerformance will not be held responsible for additional costs due to the failure of a product (cost of sale, towing, labor, etc.). Warranty claims must be submitted to MAPerformance for review. Products that are factory coated must adhere to the break in process. Only products coated by MAPerformance will be covered. Products will not be covered if wrapped.
3.) MAPerformance “Limited Lifetime” Warranty does not apply to all products. Kits, packages, bundles, or any non fabricated parts and products by MAPerformance are not warrantied. Engines and engine assemblies are not warrantied. Cast components are warrantied for 3 years from purchase date.

The MAP cold air intake for my Mustang went in without any major issues. Follow the installation video, but also remove the top cover of motor for placing the PCV valve on the new intake tube. Everything works as described!! The placement of the K&N filter being low and upfront give the turbo the cold air it requires for optimal operation. Look at the outside temp in comparison with the intake air temp and it will show the difference. Combine this with a catless down pipe will provide the turbo with optimal air flow.

I was actually blown away with the sound I thought that all the videos of mustangs with this product had more done to it but now I know it’s true 😂. Love this product definitely goin to be coming back to MAPERFORMANCE for more stuff!!
I love this intake kit. Definitely big turbo sounds and a much better swap out for the factory junk from Ford. Decent power gainz as well and thats all on drive mode. Sport is another story (;
