I have put about 500 miles on the Civic with these and I gotta say that they are "okay" coilovers. I hope they last for the lifetime of the car because then they'll be worth it.
My only complaint is how stiff or bouncy the springs/struts are. Also I'm a little confused on the "32-Way dampening" that is mentioned in the description because each strut only has 12 clicks of adjustment. I'm not sure how that works.
But anyways, from 1 being the softest and 12 being the most stiff, I gotta say anything 8 or above is unbearable on normal roads. Every bump is extremely harsh.
I am currently on 2 in the front and 3 in the rear and it actually feels normal-ish but it's literally almost at the softest setting. Not too satisfying.
The springs rebound is pretty harsh too... if I go even a little fast, I start to bounce way too much and It doesn't feel very stable. I'm not sure if maybe I just need to get used to it, but I definitely feel like it should be better than this. I made update this review after a few months, but for now, they're just okay for the street.
Maybe if you plan on using them exclusively for Track, then they are an excellent choice, but for the roads, I might go with another option if I can't get used to the excessive bouncing and lack of confidence it gives in taking fast corners.
As a Bay Area native, I pay way too much in taxes for the roads to be ad bad as they are, but alas they still are ridden with potholes.
For the most part these coilovers are AMAZING. Driving to work and back is a breeze and feels very comfortable and driving back roads make the car feel like it's on rails. Looking forward to putting on a rear sway bar to see how much better the car will feel. The adjustable dampening on the bottom of the strut is so genius because the top of the strut can only be accessed by removing it from the car. These will work with your oem swaybar endlinks
My only complaint mostly has to do with the area that I live. Any pothole that you hit actually feels like hell. I took a 2 hour trip to San Jose and the horrible freeways made the trip very uncomfortable.
Overall these coilovers are great and I have no regrets with my purchase. MAP did a great job getting me these quickly and in good condition. If you're looking for an affordable coilover for your hatchback that will help your car handle like a dream don't hesitate to buy these.
