upper cam sproket tool 05 subaru. dohc turbo

Perhaps I did something wrong and ordered the wrong tool,,,, I did use the tool for the lower sprockets and it worked, but the upper sprocket tool looks like 3 pedals on a flower.... The sprocket was keyed,, The tool would only go on one way but even that way was not quite good enough to slip it over the end,, I had to grind on the "pedals" quite a bit... The tool is still useable but mods definitely had to be made,,,, Are there several "pedal" designs??? Please let me know for future use thank you, Mike

Works great

Used for my ej207 version 8 and worked perfectly. Only fits on the cam 1 way and took a moment to get situated, but once on correctly, my bolt came out with ease. Just wish it weren't so pricey.
