Multiple Subaru Fitments Street Series Transmission Bushing Kit by IAG Performance
If you’ve purchased a set of IAG Street Series, Race Series or Competition Series Transmission Mounts, you’ll have the ability to easily swap out the bushings to fine-tune your mounts to your preference. While this 75A durometer bushing kit will provide you a touch more stability and performance, we also have stiffer options for high-performance applications that are also compatible with our transmission mounts. The next step up is our Competition Series Red 90A Bushing Kit, and finally, our Solid Steel Race Bushings (sold separate from this kit). Due to the higher durometer, additional NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) will be noticeable throughout the vehicle’s interior.
Weak or standard OEM transmission mounts often allow drivetrain movement, leading to issues with shift timing and quality. IAG’s Street Series Transmission Bushing Kit is designed for compatibility with IAG’s Subaru EJ Transmission Mounts, which help to control drivetrain movement during high-performance driving, resulting in a more precise shift feel. This Bushing Kit includes (x4) 75A durometer bushings that are slightly stiffer than the Subaru Group N bushings.
IAG’s Transmission Bushings are tougher than rubber because they’re made from durable polyurethane material. Polyurethane bushings deliver enhanced handling and stability by minimizing friction and offering strong load-bearing performance. They are exceptionally wear-resistant and can endure exposure to motor chemicals, road salts, and various environmental factors, making them the perfect match for IAG's high-performing transmission mounts.
Once the transmission mounts are out of the car, swapping out the bushings in the IAG Transmission mounts only takes a couple more minutes. Installation of the transmission mounts themselves is a straightforward task because it features a unique flush hardware design that eliminates the need to take the mount apart to install it on the vehicle. Removing the transmission mounts takes around thirty minutes to complete using basic hand-tools and a jack with jack stands.
