I used this for a fuel pump controller, PWM control at 1khz base frequency with no issues. I mounted it to a Heat-sink but it seems to run very cool for the given application. It comes with both a pull up resistor and a fly-back diode to take a lot of the guess work out of it. So far so good and the whole system has fixed a lot of overheating issues from the stock fuel pump wiring and control systems (reduced voltage through resistor).
