Fortune Auto engineers were tasked with a focused goal to make the Generation 8 - 500 Series dampers the best single adjustable system on the market at a very affordable price point. All systems are completely hand-built. We insist on building bespoke suspension in order to offer the best quality control in the industry.
Research on the racetrack has helped us develop the Fortune Auto 500 Series into a great all-around shock absorber. Using high quality components that meet our strict standards allows us to optimize comfort, reliability, and longevity.
Flow Digressive piston technology allows for stiff low-speed compression/rebound force. This gives more control of driver inputs such as roll, dive, and squat. However, at fast stroke speeds (i.e. high speed bumps) the suspension becomes supple in response to bumps and irregularities in the road for maximum control.

This is my first time spending $1000+ on coilovers so I was really nervous about my choice. I was stuck between BC Racing and Fortune Auto, as both were near the $1000 range. A few friends advised that the additional few hundred dollars was more than worth it to get Fortune Auto coilovers. So that's what I did.
My last car was lowered on Raceland Ultimo coilovers (the fancier Raceland option) so I was really hoping to have a noticably nicer experience with these. I've had these Fortune Autos on the car for a week now and I'm impressed. Living in New York means horrific roads, and the car performs just fine over potholes. The only real bounciness comes from dips in the road or speed bumps. Compared to OEM, car feels more grounded in turns and highway exit ramps, which is very nice. I don't plan on tracking my car, so these coilovers satisfy my expectations completely.
