Company23 EJ20 Piston Ring Compressor | Multiple Subaru Fitments (515)

I was glad to find this since I have some expensive solid diameter tapered ring compressors at 2 sizes near the smallest diameter in the range of this expandable tool. Now I need one 0.030 inch larger and didn’t want to order yet another expensive one. This should work, but at the lower end of the range it is too far out of round to be effective without over clamping on the piston to get the rings to compress fully at the gap in the tool diameter. It would work great at the upper end of the range though.
I’m going to send it back and get one that works for my application.
