Competition Clutch’s new clutch kits for the Honda L15B7 include all components for installation to get your car back on the ground and ready to rock. The dimensions are upgraded from the OE 230mm assembly to 240mm to replicate the FK8 Type R clutch. The increased surface area provides a clutch with smoother engagement and higher torque-handling capacity — a minimum of 136-percent over the original equipment unit.
There are four Competition Clutch clutch kits available for this application so that you can get exactly what you need for your performance build. The pressure plate’s diaphragm fingers are heat-treated for increased clamping force — 60-percent higher than stock — consistent pedal feel, and a slight increase in clutch pedal pressure. Clutch kits and flywheels are proprietary to each other.
Upgraded Clutch and Flywheel kit from 230mm to 240mm, which replicates the FK8 Type R clutch size. The increased surface area ensures a smoother engaging clutch and higher torque capacity.

First off, I received my clutch in 2 days. Customer service was amazing. I was in the market for a stage 2 clutch after my factory clutch died on just an intake and tune. Everyone recommended the ACT, but if you're reading this, that kit is out of stock. Immediately following installation, the pedal felt pretty hard, I've read that after the 500-mile break in period it softens up. I've been driving with it on the car for about 100 miles so far and it definitely is starting to feel more comfortable. I'm staying below 3,000 RPM and below 70 mph as I baby this thing through the break in. Overall, I am very satisfied so far.
Recommend by MAP team for best OEM clutch pedal feel since ACT was out of stock. The pedal feel is 3 TIMES GREATER THAN STOCK. NOT GOOD FOR DAILY DRIVING. I have broken 3 OEM clutch master cylinders; 2 in the span of 2 months. I don't know whether to change the clutch again or upgrade the master, slave, and throw out bearing. Do not buy if you are looking for OEM pedal feel.
