The COBB Turbo Inlet for 2015-2021 Subaru WRX is constructed of cast aluminum, a much needed upgrade over the failure-prone factory piece. The inlet ID has been expanded to 70mm, a 5mm increase compared to stock and the outlet is 2mm larger than stock, matching the factory compressor inlet of 50mm. Features include mounting provisions for either stock or COBB Electronic Boost Control Solenoids, and threaded ports to accept factory sized PCV and EVAP fittings (included). We replace the brittle factory BPV connection with a more robust reinforced silicone coupler to eliminate a common source of air leaks. A captive o-ring is placed on the turbocharger side for leak-free installation.

After have a lot of leaking problems with the grimspeed inlet I swapped over to the Cobb inlet and it’s just a much better bolt on to have it’s definitely worth the extra 25-30$ and I promise you won’t look back not only is it easy to do but it’s a good piece of mind over your stock one as well
I would give this install a 10/10 not only is it easy but it cleared some issues I was having with the grimmspeed turbo inlet very though out design along with a unique sound every shift (don’t judge waiting on an s good kit for the oil cooler
very nice upgrade over the stock part. shipping was faster than expected. overall a good experience and piece, definitely gonna shop here more often as I upgrade over time.

As with everything else Cobb designs, manufacturers, and sales this is a quality part. Figment was perfect and a breeze. 35 minutes in and out. All of the fittings are in the correct place and the mating surface with the turbo is tight. Also, my WRX now makes more turno music.
