Bought the cobb ap with drop in filter for my mk7 gti. I used the cobb ots map stage 1 91oct while I was waiting for maperformance ots stage 1. My first impression of cobb ots was an improvements overall daily drivability and slight power increase at least it’s what my butt dyno tells me I was happy with that of the cobb but it was still on a conservative side. Then the maperformance stage 1 ots tune arrived after the weekend (which was free with the purchase of the cobb ap through them) and now my car is a whole different animal, doesn’t change the daily drivability in fact it improves it. I’m very happy with hp and torque figure with maperformance ots stage 1. I will be happy in stage 1 for a while (says no car enthusiast ever) but I’m already looking into going stage 2 soon here. Overall I’m very satisfied with the guys at maperformance with their service and products . If you’ve been on a defense about where to go to make your gti faster look no further. Not one single regret except not having this done as soon as I drove the car off the dealer lot. Now even with stage 1 ots map I have already broken a lot of hearts on the street lol.
