When the engine is high rotation and high load, it is impossible to achieve high output from the engine if the cooling performance of the cylinder is low, since the temperature of the circumference of a cylinder head rises. How much you can cool the circumference of the sheet ring is important, as such, using a ring made of copper is necessary to keep it cooler.

Copper has one of the highest thermal conductivities of all metals and enables the dispersion of heat to the cylinder head. Tomei selected beryllium copper alloy (BeCu) as it has ideal fatigue resistance and wear resistance while offering superior cylinder cooling performance. Tomei named this tech the "bery-ring" and applies it to the high performance turbo charged engines.
