This air filter is a direct replacement filter for the AEM short ram intake (can also be used for other intake systems) but overall it is a great product part to add to any build. The filter comes pre oiled and ready to be put on your car, and it also gives you power gains. I highly suggest it even if it's not going on an AEM short ram intake.
