Jason was both an incredible machinist and friend to all here at MAPerformance. He was passionate about his work and from the age of 15 he knew that he wanted to go into machining and he never looked back. During his time at MAP Jason was a pivotal member in designing and creating dozens of products which we will outline below. In 2016 shortly after the arrival of his first born Jason made the decision to move back to Wisconsin to be closer to family and left his position with the shop. Unfortunately, Jason was in an unexpected and tragic accident at work which took his life on December 7, 2017.

Jason was a true car enthusiast and an owner of a 1992 Mitsubishi Galant. He loved the modesty of the 4 door sedan look, but under the hood he saw some serious potential. Jason’s dream was for it to get to 600hp and he put a lot of effort into making custom parts for the Galant that would make it much more unique. He even custom designed oil caps that he ended up selling, there are quite a few people in the DSM world have his oil cap.

For this very special round of Dreams to Reality MAP will be finishing Jason’s car and giving it to his wife Jeni, their almost 2 year old son and second child due in July. Jeni would love nothing more then to have the Galant run at PowerCruise and let Jason’s memory live on. Jason's brother-in-law and close friend Joe will be helping us complete the project. Throughout Jason’s time at MAPerformance he made a undeniable impression on coworkers and many became good friends. They will have a hand in finishing this project for Jason to ensure this special memory is true to his wishes.
