2008-2015 Mitsubishi Evo X Coolant Tank by Weapon R
Made of Billet 6061 Aluminum and TIG Welded with Billet Aluminum machined fittings for a proper fitting seal. These tanks were designed with racers in mind to get down the track safely, by sending all your overflowing fluids to your catch tank and not the ground. Each Kit also comes with an aluminum bracket and stainless steel clamps for mounting. Included in each kit is 2 Feet of Clear Fiber Reinforced Tubing, to route your coolant or Oil Vapors. Vehicle-specific tanks are made to fit OEM bolt holes and require no modifications for installation. Some kits are also available in Neo-Ti Finish.

Obviously people have pictures of this installed, and I tried installing it on my 2015 Evo but it's just not going to happen without fabrication work. The bracket hole doesnt reach before it hits the A/C lines (basically that welded mounting bracket is too short.) After some research, I found that 2011-2015 Evo's have a different A/C configuration than the older models so that could be why, but I'm over it at this point. Will make a cool paperweight I guess. Thanks to MAP though for trying to help me out!
To begin with, the hose included is garbage. The inner diameter needs to be 8mm or 5/16ths and the hose that comes with this is far larger..now have coolant all over the place to clean up.
The can itself is super simple and well-made other than the fluid gauge part that shows the fluid level that weeps coolant no matter how many times I've reseated the small tube into the fittings.
Overall, you're paying for the look..and that price should just be lower IMO. This can functions, is better than oem plastic bottle in some ways but its just overpriced for having to immediately fix its shortcomings out of the box.
Installation was easy, but after installing it and adding coolant, it turns out the clear hose is leaking.
I emailed Maperformance and patiently waiting for their response.
If you're using the stock plastic jug of a coolant tank do yourself a favor and get rid of it for this. Your car deserves to at least look sporty in the engine bay, not like some 1960 beater.
