The Verus Engineering Dive Plane (Canard) Kit adds front-end downforce without the necessity of moving the front splitter further forward. The dive planes are able to be installed with 3M VHB tape or bolts and nuts. Paper templates are included to ensure proper install location is achieved for maximum benefits.
Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to extract more performance for the given build volume; increasing downforce generated from the dive planes. We designed these units using scan data obtained internally; ensuring an OE like fit and finish on the units.
This dive plane kit was designed for owners looking to shift aero balance forward to help aid in balancing out a large rear wing or diffuser.

I absolutely love the look and effect these have. There’s a noticeable change in down force at speed; obviously it’s not the most aerodynamic but for track cornering and medium speed autocross, it’s very effective. It’s also a pretty damn aggressive look for your street car, though I do have a gripe with the 3M adhesive that goes between the dive plane and the fender.
Marking the holes and drilling them is never really an exact science unless you’re willing to simply hold the carbon in place and draw with a dark with a sharpie; that’s exactly what I did so it took all the guesswork and instructions out of it. Though, it deserves to be mentioned, the instructions were damn good.
My issue came when it was time to put the adhesive on the dive plane and stick it to the car. Getting a proper hole in the adhesive (while on the carbon) was next to impossible without pulling, tearing, or just distorting the adhesive. That said, the effects were manageable; but even when installed exactly as specified, there is a bit of adhesive left over running beyond the edges. That is to say, there’s some sticky bit that is exposed and it collects sand and dirt unless trimmed away. For a track car, not the end of the world, especially with the amount of drag these are creating on their own, a little grit is not going to ruin anything. But it’s somewhat unsightly and requires a little attention for your street car.
