The resonator is built of decent quality. Stainless steel. I have no yet put it on my car but am excited to. Will comment again once I hear if it makes a difference on my car.

Good performance and build quality, not "ultra" quiet

This resonator by Vibrant performance is of nice build quality, and the fitment is great. It is 3" in and out didn't have an issue welding it into place. It is still just a straight through resonator however, so if you're trying to seriously quiet down your exhaust, you will probably have to go with a multi chamber muffler. I applied this to my previously 3" catless downpiped, turbo back 3" all the way straight piped mazdaspeed6. It was loud before. REALLY loud... This did a sufficient job of knocking that down a level or two, as well as cleaning up the rasp and helping with highway drone. Worth the purchase in my opinion. It gave it a much better tone and I no longer sound like a 7.3 powerstroke and disturb the entire neighborhood in the morning. Just the one's closest by ;).
