The Thermal Zero Subaru downpipe blanket was specifically designed to fit the cat-less 3″ aftermarket downpipe.
The blanket is made with a highly durable 3000°F rated Lava outer jacketing which incorporates an aluminum bonded internal layer to further protect the blanket itself from external elements. The inside 6-pound density ceramic layer is rated to withstand up to 2500° Fahrenheit direct heat.
With the added feature of a hook and loop closure system, this blanket can be installed in a matter of minutes.
This blanket will keep engine bay temperatures very low and add life to your Subaru CV boots which commonly deteriorate due to added heat after installing an aftermarket downpipe.
