SP Performance® Slotted Brake Rotors with ZRC Coating was designed to vent gasses that case your brakes to fade bringing your vehicle to a screeching halt. At higher braking temperatures brake pads start to expel gasses. These expanding gasses push the pads away from the rotor causing brake fade. SP Performance Slotted Rotors vent these gasses allowing the rotor and pads to stay in contact. The series of slots also wipe dust away from the pads and improve bite. SP Performance ZRC coating provides the the rotor with the most durabale and longest lasting coating on the market. The coating is designed to fully cure with the heat created during the bedding in process of the rotors. Disclaimer: Coating will wear off the rotor where the brake pads make contact.

These rotors are not to bad for the price if you're looking for the slotted look. I swapped my two piece front rotors and rear rotors for these for a cost effective slotted look. The only downfall is that the coating they douse these in sucks terribly. I 100% recommend you buy about three cans of break clean a have a few microfibers on hand and just completely wipe it off or try and order them leaving a note to not coat them cause I believe there made to order. But in any case ditch that coating it comes with and do your self a favor before putting them on like i did and give them a nice little high heat paint job where the pads dont touch to prevent corrosion and rust. (Plenty of youtube vids in this to follow). If you dont, and leave the coating on they are going to stain your wheels if your not careful while washing the car. The water will go through your lug nuts and erode the coating they use to the point of it dripping on your nice wheels like my gramlights. Other than that they fit perfectly and weighed only 3.4 lbs more than my two piece. I bought these front/rear rotors as well as the Girodisk magic pads for all corners and i don't have any squeak at all and this is after about 500 miles. Follow this review and i guarantee you'll like enjoy this slotted look set up and the breaking capability that comes with :) Get after it!
