Skunk2’s Alpha Valve Springs for Honda’s D16 series VTEC engines are designed to ensure valvetrain stability and prevent valve float when using performance hi-lift camshafts and/or operating the engine at higher rpms.

Skunk2 Alpha Titanium Retainers for Honda’s D16 series VTEC engines are designed using the latest computer-aided design to ensure that each retainer is optimized for both strength and weight reduction. Titanium retainers serve to reduce the reciprocating mass that the valve spring must control at higher rpms, resulting in improved valvetrain stability and horsepower. All Skunk2 titanium retainers are precision CNC machined from aircraft grade 6AL4V titanium for the ultimate in precision and durability.

• Skunk2 Racing warrants all products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for normal use and service, regardless of mileage, for a period not to exceed 12 months from the original date of retail purchase. Parts returned must be determined by Skunk2 Racing to be defective prior to any warranty credit or replacement is issued. Skunk2 Racing's obligation under warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing, at its discretion, any part proven defective. The customer must prepay transportation charges. Final determination of the suitability of the products for the use contemplated by the buyer is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
