Adding a P2R intake gasket will help reduce IAT's by removing the direct connection of the intake manifold to the cylinder head. By placing this thermal gasket between the intake manifold and cylinder head, you will reduce the amount of head soak that would typically be absorded by the intake manifold.
I used this gasket in between my d17a2 head and d16y8 manifold. The gasket matches the head perfectly. Very very clean and precise cnc. I was skeptical at first and originally tried to source a hondata gasket. Hondata does not make a d17 gasket. I will use p2r for future builds. I cant note on reduced iats because its a new build.
