Only go OEM when it comes to certain parts

I tried to replace my MAF with a budget alternative and although the car did run more or less fine, when I finally dropped and OEM MAF in, everything ran that much better. Much smoother idle and more responsive readings to the ECU. It sucks how expensive it is but when you need it, you need it.

Helped my idle when I used a sensor form a local store.

Origonally tried Autozone for a cheap alternative, dont go there as they dont stock them nor do they have the correct sensor in their system for the Evo X. Everything I've ready says dont get the duralast MAF sensor as your car wont function properly. Mitsubishi brand is the only option for replacement. Ordered a new MAF after searching around online and only finding mitsubishi selling em for double what MAP does. So huge shout out to MAP for buying in bulk and most likely from the manufacturer themselves to help us Evo X owners out! You guys rock!
