Mishimoto Racing Thermostat (62° C) / Mitsubishi Eclipse 2G DSM 1995-1999
The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse will promote greater cooling efficiency throughout your engine. The Mishimoto racing thermostat will significantly lower high engine temperature produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications. Once the engine is fully warmed up the Mishimoto racing thermostat will open up at a lower temperature than standard thermostats, also allowing the coolant to flow through the engine sooner thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.
Mishimoto thermostat activates at 62° C, stock thermostat activates at 80° C
Mashimoto have always made great products, it was a direct fit to my 2G DSM works great.

I bought this thermostat for my 97 GST to bring my coolant temps down. Took me just a few minutes to install and my coolant temps dropped over 35 degrees. Highly recommend this for anyone fighting high coolant temps.
