The MAPerformance Honda Type-R FK8 intake system is the result of extensive design iteration through dyno testing and flow analysis. We developed a system that maintains low air inlet temperatures that allow your turbo to get all of the crisp cool air it deserves.

The massive 6.5" intake filter sits safely shielded away from hot air in a high quality rotomolded air box which utilizes the factory style seal against the hood. The cast aluminum intake pipe features a built in velocity stack to allow the air to flow smoothly and efficiently.

All these features allow you to achieve power gains, steady temperatures, increased throttle response, and beautiful induction noise. This intake system is easy to install and is backed by our MAP Lifetime Warranty.
