2015-2021 Subaru WRX Intake Airbox by MAPerformance
The MAPerformance Subaru WRX Intake Airbox adds the benefits of a cold air intake to the outstanding performance of the MAPerformance WRX Intake. This airbox surrounds the MAP Intake and utilizes the factory snorkel which directs cold air from the front grill. The design of the airbox prevents common issues that are related to high intake temperatures due to the intake being in the engine bay. This intake airbox is a temperature-resistant rotomolded piece, includes stainless steel hardware and small bracket for a very easy install with an OEM+ quality fit and finish.
Please Note: Does not work with factory intake, requires MAPerformance REV3 WRX Intake, no guarantee this product will work with other aftermarket intakes.

It's clean up the engine bay, allows you to you the OEM snorkel. I would have preferred if it was offered in the Stage 2 Package.
Perfect fitment on the intake box now engine bay is complete. Still hear the turbo sound just as I did before!
Have been waiting for this product. Since I live in AZ my intake temps are usually 120. With the air box it’s 65-75. Awesome purchase.👍🏾
Fits snug and install was the easiest thing I put on my car so far! Did not use hardware since it's held in pretty well on its own so I left it loose and 2 screws go into the side of it that really holds it in place. Separates the filter from the engine bay really well and made my WRX a little quieter (less whoosh noises) but made the downpipe and BPV sounds way more noticeable. Temps are cooler as well, it's literally a win/win and looks good!
Super easy instal; immediately noticed a significant drop in intake temperature. Another great maperformance made item!!! Good work boys! 👊🏼
