Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield for Mitsubishi Evo 8/9 by MAPerformance
Enhance the look of your Evo 8/9 engine bay with our exhaust manifold heat shield. Constructed from high quality stainless steel, available in either a brushed stainless finish or black ceramic coating. OEM-location holes for an easy installation.
Ceramic Coating: Our advanced ceramic coating option helps control heat soak. The piece is coated in a thermal barrier (available in black only) that looks great and protect wires and hoses from heat. Please note the coating may need some extra curing to prevent flaking after installation. Please allow the part to heat up during normal driving or idling and then completely cool before putting it through it's paces.

Please Note: This will not work with after market manifolds that aren't provisioned for the factory heat shield. If you select the Black Ceramic Coating there will be a 4-7 business day delay.

What's In The Box?
- 1 - Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield
1.) All MAPerformance in-house fabricated parts include a Limited Lifetime Warranty for the Original Purchaser. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferrable. If the product fails it would need to be determined by MAPerformance that it is due to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. The purchaser will be responsible for sending the product back, after contacting MAPerformance and reporting the failure. Further instructions will be provided by MAPerformance.
2.) This does not cover normal wear and tear. Improper use, modification, or abuse voids this warranty. MAPerformance will not be held responsible for additional costs due to the failure of a product (cost of sale, towing, labor, etc.). Warranty claims must be submitted to MAPerformance for review. Products that are factory coated must adhere to the break in process. Only products coated by MAPerformance will be covered. Products will not be covered if wrapped.
3.) MAPerformance “Limited Lifetime” Warranty does not apply to all products. Kits, packages, bundles, or any non fabricated parts and products by MAPerformance are not warrantied. Engines and engine assemblies are not warrantied. Cast components are warrantied for 3 years from purchase date.
Had this heat shield installed for a bit on a stock manifold and found the weld to be separated one day. MAPerformance Lifetime warranty can not be honored due to product being a gift, Representative offered a discount for repurchase of product which was declined.
Doesn’t quite fit the front bolt on FP manifold and I’ll have to cut it up for wastegate dump but otherwise it’s way prettier than the exposed manifold and helps with the heat management
Like the title states makes a huge difference in appearance!
