This thing is big! Definitely an upgrade over stock and while it’s not a requirement it’s almost one in the southern states where it’s hot all the time. Have this fitted on an Evo 4 so it wasn’t straightforward but still fits after custom mounts. Had to get rid of the windshield wiper reservoir though.

I should have done this upgrade a long time ago. The price on this kit is quite reasonable, and the quality of the kit is top notch. I did receive a wrong bracket, but Cody got me the right one overnighted! I have ordered from MAP several times and this is the only issue I have ever had, and it was handled quickly and professionally. The assembly and install was pretty straightforward and the job was done in 1 1/2 beers. (How I figure my labor these days). If you are thinking about an oil cooler upgrade for your Evo 8 or 9, this is the one you want from people that are happy when you are happy!

Sweet set up

As with most Evo 8/9’s… the oem oil cooler lines tend to leak over time. The oem replacement lines aren’t cheap. So it only made sense to upgrade. This kit is very well put together and easy to install. I was able to get to everything without removing the front bumper. The fittings appear to be good quality and they swivel, which made installation even better. Fitment was spot on and it looks quite nice. I am very pleased with it.
