Manley's H-Tuff connecting rods are manufactured from 4340 forgings to ensure the highest strength possible. These rods are heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened and 100% magnafluxed. H-Tuff delivers a stronger rod with greater safety margin to handle elevated boost and higher power levels for a modest price premium over standard H-Beams. The H-Tuff design incorporates wider beam and increased cross-sectional thickness in critical areas along with a ribbed pin surround.
