Hyper V-Core Series Radiator w/ Filler Neck by Koyo
The Hyper V-Core Series is the newest to the Koyorad All Aluminum Racing Radiator line up. An engine's cooling system in many newer vehicles are suffering due to limited space and crowding which affects air circulation. Our new ultra efficient Hyper V core was developed specifically for vehicles which see extreme heat, are limited in space, and where the factory inlet/outlet locations eliminate the option for a proper N-FLO design.
The Hyper V Series radiators have a specially designed fin and tube pitch which significantly increased its surface area while still allowing for excellent air circulation through the radiator. The Hyper V-Core series is the perfect solution where space savings and high performance is a must. All Koyorad Hyper V-Series All Aluminum Radiators are Nocolok brazed, designed as a factory fit, direct bolt in with no engine modifications necessary, and retain mounts for the stock fan shrouds and fans.

This radiator is awesome twice the size as oem. Looks clean and fits well. Lots of people say they have to trim the upper rad hose. I paired mine with the overtake radiator hoses and everything fit perfectly.
The Koyo-Rad Hyper V is an excellent radiator. Installation is easy, rinsing the engine coolant passages and heater core is a long process.
The radiator thickness fan mounting points are different. The fans mounting points create about half inch of space between the fan shroud and the radiator core. This will make installation of the passenger side fan difficult if a big aftermarket high volume turbo charge pipe is installed. If an aftermarket high volume pipe is in, I recommend to remove the intercooler and the charge pipe to properly fit the passenger side fan then install the charge pipe and intercooler.
Make sure that drain plugs are tight. Fill the radiator (my 2015 wrx it took 2½ gallons).
Run the engine with the heat and fans to the max with the windows open to get all the air out of the whole system.
Ordered this to replace the failing plastic factory radiator on my 2013 STI, MAPerformance got it to my door in under a week with free shipping. Fit perfectly with no modifications like advertised. Also comes with the bolts to mount the fans to the new radiator, so you don’t have try to find new ones. Had no clearance issues with the upper rad hose touching pulleys or the fans. The radiator itself is really great quality, all beautiful welds and nice aluminum finish, no leaks or anything. Definitely recommend the koyorad as an upgrade, or to replace a failed factory radiator. Note: DO NOT play around with random high pressure caps. Either buy new OEM or reuse your factory caps and put the round one on the radiator and the winged cap on the turbo reservoir, they are specific different pressures for the cooling system to work correctly.
