The factory catalytic converters are well known as the biggest "choke point" in the factory exhaust system. These high flow stainless spun catalytic converters blow away the stock converter flow rates while still maintaining legal emissions levels.
Constructed with stainless tubing and 3/8" stainless flanges. Fully TIG welded and true mandrel bends used throughout. These converters will bolt up to any header (factory or aftermarket) and any exhaust (factory or aftermarket). These pipes also retain the factory Oxygen sensor location and WILL NOT THROW A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!!
Expect great performance gains from these converters as they have dyno'd between 7-9 hp at the wheels on factory 350Z's. They only add a slightly more aggressive exhaust note and do not have the pesky "raspiness" between 3-4k rpm that is seen with straight through test pipes.
Please check local laws regarding catalytic converters. Our cats are 49 state legal and do not have a CARB number associated with them.

I have a 2012 G37x. They give a hiss sound at high rpm’s, that’s pretty cool in my opinion. My check engine went off afterwards to so that’s a plus. Also they sound a bit aggressive which is also another plus. Overall I like them .
2007 350z. These passed emissions and the fit is spot on. I originally had Z1 Motorsports HF Cats and couldn't pass emissions, the car smelled like gas, and they were louder. If I wanted test pipes, I would have ordered test pipes. I also like that the hardware is metric. Z1's came with standard 5/8ths bolts. Not a huge deal but everything else on the car uses metric sizing.
I installed these on my 2012 g37 sedan. Install took me 3 hours on a lift. Installed, reset my ecm after Install. Car pulls harder now, with no loss of torque down low. Small amount of rasp that starts at about 4k rpm, but not a deal breaker. These are very solid and no droning at all. Mpg have increased slightly too. Must buy if you have a 3.7 HR motor.
Product as described, arrived fairly quickly and provides great sound and acceleration boost.
Cold starts say something else is brewing in that exhaust, other than that only when I open up the throttle 3 or 4k and the machine whirl now growls. No other way to describe it soundwise.
Performance, I always felt hesitancy and this has dramatically increased throttle response, I know this as I take my fav no cop/pedestrian backroad to open it up and just smiled.
Installers charged me a meager 200 Bucks to install.
No noticeable rasp or clanging sounds noticable.
