Invidia Rolled Titanium Burnt Quad Tip Cat-Back Exhaust | 2014-2019 Lexus RC-F Q300 (HS14LRF3TH)

This is the perfect exhaust if you want nice cold starts, solid sound at high RPMS, but little to no droning cruising down the road.

I installed this exhaust just a short while ago. It's 100% bolt on for the RCF. You DO have to remove some plastic under trays and a brace but after that it's not a hard install. It helps if you have a second set of hands.

I am not into the shiny muffler look of the early 2000's Fast and Furious so I painted only the rear most muffler part that you see when standing from behind the car black. I wanted to keep the OEM-ish look from the factory, and just draw attention to the burnt Ti tips rather than shiny mufflers.

I will note that I did NOT use the supplied gaskets right after the headers. I used a double thickness gasket by Grimmspeed. The gaskets provided aren't bad but there are too many reviews of getting a CEL because of a leak. As as safe measure I also used copper gasket sealer as you can see in the one picture (orange stuff) liberally at the gaskets joint right after the header.

Cold starts sound awesome! There is definitely a pop/crackle at first. It's so great! Then the car goes quiet but not like stock. There is still a low rumble. You know there is an 8 cylinder.
When you drive you hear a nice exhaust note that is higher pitched (probably due to the X pipe rather than an H pipe) exotic sound. Cruising around there is ZERO drone, zero complaints. This was one of the reasons why I wanted the exhaust. A lot of reviews out there state this exhaust is too quiet. I'd argue that they want something obnoxiously loud. This is not that at all. It's not going to make your neighbors mad, and it's not going to get to a point that you are unable to listen to music or talk on the phone in the car... again, this is keeping the car as a Lexus. But man does it sound awesome. I 100% feel this is how the car should have come from the factory. It's just the perfect amount of sound. No videos that I watch can portray the sound output.

My only 2 gripes with the exhaust is that I wish the flange connecting to the headers would have had a recessed area like the OEM exhaust. It would make the double thickness gasket noted above a moot point and there would be zero chances of any leaks. Then you could use good quality OEM gaskets from Lexus/Toyota. My second gripe is that the exhaust hanger doesn't have a little tip like the OEM exhaust to possibly prevent it from coming out of the exhaust hanger. Shouldn't be a big deal when everything is installed and bolted together but there's a reason why most manufactures of these "flared tips".

The sounds really opens up the v8 on this car. It’s not too obnoxious loud either. I felt an instant power increase after install. Highly recommend this exhaust for the RC F. Over at MAP customer service is top notched and it only took 3 days to get to my house.
