The sound from this BOV was exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend this for any car needing a BOV.

Apparently if you have diverter valve and then change to a BOV, you need a retune, but I've been running a BOV for the last 10 years so I don't remember.
So I was looking into HKS blow off valve and its definitely nice, but with a catch. If you're all stock like I am, you would either need to get a recirculating kit for this HKS blow off valve or a tune as you're gonna be running rich because EVO X are made factory with a BPV (bypass valve) and not a BOV (blow off valve). besides that it's a great product just one thing the brand forgets to mention.
It took hard work trying to find the best BOV money can buy. i dont regret one bit and its easy to install. I love the build up of air when accelerating and then the loud flutter sounds that it makes when its released. I recommend highly
Love this BOV. Easy install and makes driving more exciting. The sounds are awesome; if the pitch is too high you can take off the insert or buy the separate low frequency insert
