    VERY good kit for the price.

    SO I saw mixed reviews for this BS delete kit, but I figured with my plans for the engine, it would be worth it as an extra precaution. For starters, MAPerformance has some of the best prices on the market. I ALWAYS find what I need for my Evo 8. So I ordered this kit, along with probably 5-6 other items. First of all, I had boxes at my door 2 days later. Holy cow that was fast. Everything was packaged nicely and looked great. This kit is amazing. When you inspect it, you would think this kit would cost much more than it did. Very awesome precision machine work, and was much better than expected. I had an automotive shop do the install since the bearings needed to be pressed into the block. Overall performance was better than expected. I recommend a fluidamper to accompany this kit, I didn't notice any extra vibrations, but it doesn't hurt to be cautious. I noticed the rev's are a little more responsive. Common issues with kits like these, are increased oil pressure (mainly the stubby kit) but a Kiggly HLA "should" cure that however I still installed an oil pressure gauge to keep an eye on it. So overall I am happy with my purchase. Some guys say don't remove the balance shaft, others say it's a must. To me, it was worth the peace of mind.. As long as you have the supporting mods and the common sense to research and keep an eye on how your car is performing, you shouldn't have any issues. I definitely feel safer with this BS delete kit in my car. No more worry about that stupid BS belt taking out my engine.

    Side note - I HIGHLY recommend spending the extra cash to have this kit installed by a professional shop. I know people who attempted this themselves, and a few turned out fine, but others caused massive engine failure. DON'T CHEAP OUT WHEN IT COMES TO GO FAST PARTS. Saving a few hundred bucks now will end up costing you thousands later, so don't be dumb. Do it right or do not do it at all. (speaking to the majority of youtube DIY guys of course lol)
