2008-2015 Evo X Catch Can / Coolant Expansion Combo Tank By MAPerformance
Let’s be honest. You love the raw visceral feel of stomping on the gas pedal and being pushed back into the seat of your Mitsubishi Evolution X. All that boost in your 4B11T generates a lot of crankcase pressure which can lead to pre-detonation and be detrimental to performance and longevity of your engine.
Our all-new MAPerformance Catch Can for the Evo X is a full vent to atmosphere catch can designed to eliminate this crankcase pressure. Venting the crankcase properly makes seals & gaskets last longer and reduces oil accumulation in intercoolers and intake piping to ensure your intercooler is operating at an optimal level. It also reduces the resistance against your pistons and is able to free up some hp that your factory system robs you of.
Our sleek cast design replaces your plastic coolant overflow tank and doubles as your coolant overflow tank and catch can, all with an easy single bolt install.

- Single bolt-in design with no major modifications or special tools needed for install

Very bad PCV head attachment, I'm back with a status update after a month of use, very disappointed, I had big problems with attaching the hose to the PCV on the right, because the plastic caps give you a small kit, the attachment is very unreliable, based more on the joint, they don't thread exactly, at high pressures you can hear a squeak, I spent a month testing the car to figure out where that squeak is coming from, who else has had this happen to you, you know where it comes from, don't just change all the hoses, it's very poor quality, disappointed, the one from Radium is much better, with classic attachments based on clamps and rubber!
Install is kinda ehh, instructions could be better. Feels like alot
Of “ this should go here?” but regardless it does work really well out of all the catchcans ive ever used , pretty tight fit . Only down side for some people is if you run e85 the fumes can be strong in the cabin, make sure you have the air on recirculate if you want to avoid the smells . I personally dont mind e85 fumes at all
MapPerformnace has help me with all my Q & A, very helpful their whole team...Im loving my new catch can, any concers dont bother to call MapPerformance they will get you right. Thank you
Money well spent, love this catch can and has been working flawlessly on my Evo and looks beautiful in my bay
I have another question, I recently purchased this product, I haven't installed it yet because I wanted to know if it will affect the car's ECU map and if I will have problems with idling considering that the product has an open circuit by eliminating vapors into the atmosphere, type VTA. Does anyone know if the car's ECU needs to be redesigned before the air fuel mixture, I mention that I also have blow off
