Constructed of black 5-ply silicone, the COBB Turbo Inlet is a direct replacement for your 2008-2014 WRX, 2005-2009 Legacy GT, or 2005-2009 Outback XT!
The custom silicone construction of the COBB Turbo Inlet rejects high engine bay temperatures and keeps the intake air closer to ambient temperature. The steel wire reinforced design eliminates the issue of hose collapse that other inlet hoses suffer under vacuum at peak demand, yet allows adequate flex between the engine and the intake.
The V2 Inlet has been updated to ease installation. Machined billet aluminum adapters for the Post-MAF hose and BPV return allow for a more secure fit. A change in fittings makes installation cleaner and prevents fittings from protruding into the inlet airway. Finally, and most importantly, the overall path of the inlet tube has been tweaked to improve fitment around TGV Housings and ease installation.

Not a big fan of this inlet, pain in the ass to get in and still doesn’t match to turbo snout very well
A lot of people complain about having to trim it and I think they forget the old "measure twice, cut once" . A little bit had to be cut off the turbo side for it to fit correctly. The recirculate pipe is not fun to get hooked back up, however all of it can be done with had tools and leaving the intake manifold on. Just takes some time. Well made, well thermally insulated, and the connections all mate right up. Its also cheaper than other brands and probably still made better.
