SUBARU 02 WRX INIT CONNECTOR
2002-2005 Subaru WRXs require the use of an Initialization Connector when using an Accessport to flash a map on the ECU. The connector will be used during Install, Uninstall, and any full reflash of the ECU. This blue connector is specific to the 2002 WRX.
The 2002 WRX requires the use of this particular Initialization ("init") Connector in order to get the car into Test Mode, which is when there is open communication with the ECU and a Reflash is possible.

Between the DIY or OEM style plug I definitely prefer the ease of plugging in. Sure, I could have made my own connector with some terminals and a bit of wire but this looks a lot cleaner.

this part was exactly as described and was of great quality.
I mean this is just amazing! Way cleaner then just having to wires loop back into the plug. Now it looks like it's stock and should be there! Ultra sleeper mode. No one will be expecting you to have a wicked fast tuned car now. Smoke dem tires to let them know you mean business(only on track/designated places that this is allowed. No street racer BS.) Also this mod gets all the ladies.
