COBB Stage 2 Drivetrain Package | 2004-2020 Subaru STI 6MT (215X02)

My car has 80k and my reverse lockout cable went out and since I was going to be in there, might as well install the COBB short shifter and oh boy! What a difference! Definitely worth it, idk why waited forever lol.

This kit is pretty awesome does exactly what I wanted it to and that was to take the slop out of the Shifter. I would recommend keeping the gear shift at the factory height I put mine too low and now I don't have as much leverage as I'd like but still I'd highly recommend this

Easy to install and super high quality and light weight

Standard COBB quality, you won't be disappointed. It does have some drivetrain noise, but it grows on you pretty quickly. I actually think it sounds cool now.. The reverse lockout cable does need ziptied or it will rub the driveshaft. Don't skip that step. It was not a hard install and a huge improvement over the factory feel. The reverse lockout collar was a tad tricky but worth the effort. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

Very nice setup. Took a lil work to get everything put on but whatevs, I'm quarantined, I had time. The reverse lockout was a bitch. Soon as I got it all put together I took my car for a ride. I love it! Great purchase! I had to use some sinew to pull the reverse lockout into place. Shipping was fast and the product quality is awesome. Thanks MAperformance!!
