2015-2021 WRX 3-Port Boost Control Solenoid by Cobb

The COBB 3-Port Boost Solenoid (BCS) is an excellent upgrade for modern turbocharged vehicles, enabling precise boost control in a tidy package that is easy to install and tune. Our BCS will eliminate boost fluctuations inherent in the OEM boost control system, providing stable and repeatable boost control to base the vehicle's tune on. It is equally capable of providing this stable boost control at stock boost levels as well as extremely high boost levels associated with big-power builds.

The COBB Tuning 3-Port BCS features 1/4" low-profile barb fittings to keep the unit compact and are nickel coated for corrosion resistance. Viton spools and seals are used throughout for long life and lubricated with Dow Corning silicone grease. The manual override is sealed with an O-ring, the wiring harness is sealed to the casing using a waterproof grommet and the solenoid wires are ultrasonically welded to the coil, making the device waterproof and safe to wash. The BCS is rated to operate up to 120psi.

Needed after intake and exhaust upgrades

First I’d like to say that MAPerformance has been the best place to order upgrades/aftermarket parts for my car.

21 WRX with COBB intake and catted TurboXS J-pipe/ 3” midpipe. Car was not able to run smoothly on any OTS tune(no reliable tuners in my area and it must be done in person and not over data logging/Etune). I installed the Cobb EBCS And Reinstalled stage 2 + BigSF tune. Let me just say it has been the most transformative upgrade. The car was boost spiking/overboosting (up to 24 psi)in hard throttle. Now it never goes over 22 and runs all the way up the limiter with no hesitation/pulling power by the ecu. The car used to get crazy fine knock learn from -9 and up. Now the worse I’ve had is a -1.05, I used to get -2.41 stock every single day. Now I barely get -1.05 with AC blasting at Wide Open Throttle. If you’re upgrading beyond the intake you will need one of these. Cobb was the easiest looking choice for install and wouldn’t require a full tune. Their stage 2 OTS maps all account for their EBCS installed.

a must have part that will provide great longevity and instant performance increase. would for sure recommend the COBB EBCS to anyone.

Nice upgrade!

I bought this as my final piece to go Cobb nexgen stage2+
Install was fairly simple. I was a little upset that Cobb only gives you screws as if going ina oem inlet. So one thing to note; if you have the Cobb turbo inlet, you will need to remove the 2 little bolts holding in the factory ecbs and get them about an inch long. Hope this helps!

Hands down the best EBCS on the market!!! I made the mistake the first time buying the Perrin one and what a POS!!! don't waste your time on anything else.... buy it. All tuners prefer it over others.
