2016-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T FX400 Clutch Kit by Clutch Masters

The FX400 System uses the Power Plus I Pressure Plate with a custom, extremely durable, Sprung Ceramic disc. This is the ultimate extreme duty street and/or road/drag racing system. It is available in a 6 or 8 ceramic puck configuration, with the 6-puck being the more aggressive setup and 8-puck being the less aggressive (please specify which type you prefer). The sprung hub design allows for moderate dampening in high-torque applications, rendering it much more street friendly than solid or rigid designs. This disc is designed for outstanding holding capacity, and rapid heat dissipation.

The FX400/HDCL ceramic full disc design creates a quick and rapid engagement while still creating minimal chatter due to the marcel cushion between the disc linings, this disc is designed for street driven vehicles.

Defective FX400

So i received this product about 3 months ago and put it in. drove for about a month not much at all and decided i wanted to put the flywheel to match it. well when i pulled it down i realized my clutch was completely shot. i was not to happy about this and at the time i dealing with warranty for it . i was told these clutches only last 5k to 20k miles. i would have never put this in a street car. i dont want to say they have a bad product because everyone has a prob here and there but i definitely am upset no one said this is really just for the track and not a street car. overall Performance still trying to help and clutch master as well.

2017 Civic Si

Definitely a major improvement over factory clutch and holds so much more power. Paired it with the light weight flywheel and the car is a whole other animal itself. In love with this clutch and highly recommend this clutch to others

So i decided to go with this clutch after some time thinking about it and using a action clutch before this. So after having this clutch in my car for about 3 months now i have had zero issue other then the fact i didnt buy a new flywheel to go with it so i burnt it out but the clutch was fine , So today i am going to pick up the clutch master flywheel to go with it. I wish i bought i together and actually considering buying a new clutch also and saving it because i love it so much. It is pretty aggressive but i like that and it really feels durable. If you are looking for something to give you a better feeling putting more power down, This is what you want to go with.

So I installed this clutch along with the clutch masters fly wheel and Mannnnnn that a great product. Rev hang is gone. During break in you’ll hate your life. But after holy moly this clutch set up is like butter. Holds power smooth engagement.

Great clutch

First of I want thank Maperformance for having the best price and great service, order was processed and shipped really fast. The Clutch masters FX400 dampened with single mass light weight flywheel is now my all time favorite clutch now. Out of all the sets I've got on all my cars this clutch has the best pedal feel to bite ratio. The pedal is firm yet barely heavier than stock. The clutch is nice and grubby it quickly grabs and disengages quick, it does need time for the pressure plate to break in because it does start off by engaging a little low but after 1500 miles and its perfect. I cant stress enough that you can't take full advantage by either getting an after market motor mount or the mount bushings and a heavy weighted shift knob while and your already in there, it changes the cars dynamics it wales it up the light weight flywheel also gets rid of some of that factory rev without a tune, I am definitely buying the FX400 for all my cars.
