Subaru STi Recirculating Bypass Valve by Boomba Racing
This high performance recirculating bypass valve for the WRX STi is precision machined out of aircraft grade billet aluminum. It features an internal brass piston design and is pressure tested to withstand over 70psi, allowing it to compliment even the most aggressive turbo builds. Spring pre-load determines the pressure differential required across the piston before the BOV opens and releases the pressurized intake charge. Designed to be a replacement for the OEM bypass valve and is available in 4 different colors.

As described and better sounds alot better than stock looks good on engine bay easy install
Great item, definitely sounds awesome. Way better than stock.
A lot of debate and hate on these, I slapped one of these on my stage 1 gr before I took it in to be pro tuned, 0 issues tuner worked with it just fine. I will say I prepped the intercooler surface with a little brake clean to ensure no debris on mating surface, used a zip tie on vacuum extension and it passed the smoke test no issues. Weather or not the sutututu comes from the valving of the bpv or post throttle surge is up to debate but it did not negatively affect my afr or fueling lol. I enjoy the sound and understand the potential “risks” doing so, but overall myself and more importantly my tuner approve.
