The aerodynamic kit for the Nissan GTR combines all the best aerodynamic upgrades into a single package. This package is designed to improve high-speed handling, both on and off the track.
The Front Air Dam utilizes a built-in aerodynamic splitter design that creates a high-pressure region of air atop the protruding surface, further reducing lift and increasing net downforce.
Made of lightweight and durable carbon fiber composites, APR Side Rocker Extensions help reduce lift at high speeds by preventing air at the sides of the car from rolling underneath the car. The reduced lift helps to stabilize the car during high-speed cornering and helps to increase traction for faster lap times.
The rear bumper skirts are constructed of the same high quality carbon fiber composites and, like the side rocker extensions, assist with reducing lift and stabilizing the vehicle while cornering

The APR carbon fiber aerodynamic kit is simply the best aero kit for your 2017+ GTR. The kit is pure bolt on and easy to install. Fitment is OEM and looks phenomenal. The purchase experience from MAP was excellent and Sales Advisor Tony Roubal was phenomenal and excellent follow through. I highly recommend it.
The fitment for this part was perfect. No drilling, sanding, or cutting was required. The splitter is lighter than the OEM tray and is rigid and well designed. The side skirts are stylish and also fit without issue. Only reason I take 1 star down is due to the rear skirts. They seemed a bit of an afterthought in the way they were designed. They bottom part is hollow in an unnatural way and doesn't have the same heft that the other parts had.
After having this part installed and driving on the freeway (along with the APR Wing), the aerodynamic effects were immediately apparent. Driving at freeway speed was like a new car. ON RAILS. The "comfort setting" for the suspension is basically rendered useless as the car compresses to the roadway at high speeds (I did this out of curiosity and confirmed my suspicions). Switch back to "R" mode and keep at speed, and the grip is very noticeable. I was amazed at the new feel of the car. Body roll is minimal when at speed. Also, I noticed that due to the front splitter's high pressure air effect, my oil temps seemed to be a bit lower as well. I think the design of the splitter compliments the OEM oil cooling duct.
